The Ultra-O’s symmetrical rope carabiners are ideal for use with assisted braking devices, pulleys, swivels, and shackles. Additionally, they provide stable loading characteristics, allowing attachments to self-center under load with minimal movement from the carabiner.

Oval connectors are widely used in rope access and tree care situations where multiple connectors, slings, ropes, or even pulleys can be linked together. They are equally effective in fall arrest scenarios or as part of a pre-rigged rescue system. The round basket shape allows any connection point to self-center when weighted, which helps prevent the unnerving click often associated with D-shaped connectors. Additionally, the symmetrical basket design eliminates the need for rotation within systems, as they can be positioned comfortably in either orientation.

DMM's patented 'Taperlock' closing mechanism increases gate push-in and cross gate strength using a special flared profile on the nose of the carabiner, as well as allowing a snag free connection for your ropes, slings and devices.
